A. The Factory

A one-hundred-hectare manufacturing ecosystem, master-planned for Western Sydney. Stage One is engineered to deliver five thousand dwellings a year, sited within reach of Australia's largest urban expansion in a generation.

04. The foundation

Building beyond buildings.

MODAL is committed to two missions that extend beyond commercial housing delivery. Both are funded directly from MODAL's research and development investment, in perpetuity.

Solving Homelessness

Ten percent of MODAL's annual research and development budget is directed to the MODAL Foundation for Homelessness, to fund practical, deployable housing solutions for people without homes and people at risk.

Land Rehabilitation

A further ten percent is directed to the MODAL Foundation for Land Rehabilitation and Biodiversity, to restore under-vegetated land, support carbon sequestration, and protect ecosystems for future generations.

The system MODAL builds is the same system that solves these problems.
